Day 9: Sharing & Tracking Inspection Attachments
We’ve introduced the ability to share individual attachments via unique links, letting you deliver exactly what’s needed to the right person, fast.
You’ll also see engagement tracking, including:

Day 11: Tenant-specific Reports for HMOs
Managing HMOs and shared tenancy properties just got more precise. With our new Tenant-Specific Reporting, you can now assign specific rooms in an inspection to individual contacts.
When you share the report, each contact will receive a unique link showing only the rooms assigned to them – plus any common areas.
This enhancement protects privacy, improves clarity, and ensures tenants, landlords, or agents only see what’s relevant to them. Ideal for HMO inspections, student housing, or co-living properties where multiple stakeholders are involved.
Day 12: Did You Know? Auto-Assign Clerks for Faster Scheduling
If you’re using Inspections Pro, you can save valuable time by enabling auto-assignment of clerks.
By setting a default clerk per property, any new inspection or schedule for that property will be automatically allocated to the assigned clerk. If no clerk is selected manually, the system ensures it’s never left unassigned.
This streamlines your scheduling, reduces admin, and helps teams maintain consistency – especially in high-volume operations.
Day 13: Two-Way SMS Notifications (Reply-to-SMS Added to Inspections)
SMS in Inventory Base just got smarter.
We’ve added two-way SMS functionality to improve communication with tenants, clients, and contractors. Now, when someone replies to an automated SMS, their message is automatically captured in the Internal Messaging thread of the relevant inspection.
This update centralises communication, maintains a clear audit trail, and reduces the risk of missed messages. Ideal for managing access, last-minute queries, or quick confirmations.
Day 14: 20% Bonus SMS Credits

Day 16: Did You Know? You Can Colour-Coded Tags for Inspections & Properties
Tags just got a visual upgrade. You can now apply custom colours to Tags in Inventory Base, making it easier to scan, sort, and manage your inspections and properties.
Use colour-coded Tags to indicate risk levels, workflow stages, events, branches, or anything else your team tracks. Bulk tag inspections, re-order tags for clarity, and enjoy full audit logging of changes.
It’s a small feature with big operational impact.
Day 17: Client Enhancements
We’ve made managing Clients even easier with a suite of enhancements:
- Clients now display in alphabetical order for faster access
- Improved permission controls give you more setup flexibility
- Enable Require Client on Properties to enforce structured workflows
For your Clients:
- Download full inspection and property lists as CSVs
- Bulk close inspections directly in the portal
These changes improve your internal organisation while offering more self-service options for your Clients.

Day 19: Pre-Saved Signatures (Store Signature to Profile)
Speed up sign-off with our new Pre-Saved Signatures feature.
Users can now store a signature in their profile – either drawn or uploaded – and apply it instantly to any web report.
Just click Use My Signature, and your saved signature, name, and email are automatically applied. It’s faster, more consistent, and perfect for multi-user teams or frequent signers.
Day 20: Did You Know? You Can Custom Filter Segments for Properties & Inspections
Filtering inspections and properties just got smarter with Custom Filter Segments.
Build a filter combination once (e.g., by region, workflow stage, due date, or client), name it, assign a colour, and reuse it with a single click.
This is a huge time-saver for operational leads, portfolio managers, and admins working across large datasets or multiple teams.

We’re opening early access registration for our upcoming HHSRS assessment module.
Built for councils, inspectors and compliance teams, this tool streamlines hazard scoring, categorisation, evidence capture and reporting – all within Inventory Base.
The feature is currently in Closed Beta and will roll out wider in 2026.
