Got an old report you want to use again, or a Check Out coming up for an inventory you did a while back? No problem. With InventoryBase’s new Instant Import facility, you can upload your old reports to get converted into the InventoryBase format, ready to pick up and update on your next visit.
Create a property and click Import Report, then browse for the file on your computer. Select the Word doc/docx or PDF file to upload and we’ll automatically scan it to check it can be imported instantly.
In most cases we’ll also be able to import the photos, assigned to the correct rooms and items automatically.
Instant Import will take anywhere from 10-60 seconds to complete. When it’s ready, you’ll be notified via your Dashboard, or you can just sit and wait for the report to switch over to ‘Review’.
If the scan fails to detect the format of the report then we’ll offer you the manual import service, our team will copy and paste the full report in and return it in as little as 6 hours.
